Body: Ate some of dangerjim's pie. A pie so nice I ate it twice. Backed up some data to jim's external hard drive. Tried Tim's USB 2.0 PCMCIA card and it worked ok. Checked in a patch to the python.org Python 2.3 maintenance fork.
