Body: Attempted to install psycopg (needed to pick up the new rpm, to get
the header files). I would have finished it with net :)
Peer support for .bashrc files, changing the new user account skeleton,
and recommended Jon Lasser's _Think UNIX_.

Body: I set up a couple of mailing lists for NCLUG -- nclug-cvs and
nclug-announce.
I also worked on a program to insert syslog entries into a SQL database.
Unlike most syslog-to-SQL systems which have a schema consisting of "date",
"host", and "message"... This one allows for the parsing of the actual
message text into application-specific sets of data, so you can ask
questions like "What messages relate to a system from this class C address"
and "What services have we seen a login via account Y for?"
Got the basic schema working, but found I need to make some changes. Got a
simple client going that inserts base messages into the database. Did a
test insert of 12,000 messages into the database.

Body: Helped another Sean with getting his laptop working with Debian,
including dual-booting and static/dhcp network setup.
Worked on checking in the NCLUG web site to CVS. Started a discussion
about wether we should have an announce list, what it's semantics should
be, etc.
