Body: Searching around for more information on traffic shaping under Linux. Testing out some shaping on one of our boxes, had no luck with it. Looked at the OpenBSD traffic shaping, it looks like it might have something that's quite a lot more usable than the Linux tc stuff. Tried to figure out why dannf was having problems with the rfc822 Python module but couldn't reproduce his problems. Started some code for the JOTWeb2 to validate input which includes HTML, to help protect against cross-site scripting attacks, now that I understand what they are more fully. Got the code done but not tested.

Body: Did a few work related things in the basement and checked up on a script doing some mysql database maintenance. Gave jafo access to my openbsd server so he could check out traffic shaping with pf (packet filter - openbsd's iptables). Modified some settings on my freebsd box at home to start httpd on start and load ipfilter. Configured ipfilter into the kernel. Started building the kernel. Installed some RAM into some systems in the basement. One seemed to be bad. Started memtest86 on it. Kernel build didn't seem to work correctly. Tried again, same thing during 'make'. ../../../contrib/ipfilter/netinet/ip_fil.c: In function `fr_check_wrapper': ../../../contrib/ipfilter/netinet/ip_fil.c:319: error: `PFIL_OUT' undeclared (fi rst use in this function) ../../../contrib/ipfilter/netinet/ip_fil.c:319: error: (Each undeclared identifi er is reported only once ../../../contrib/ipfilter/netinet/ip_fil.c:319: error: for each function it appears in.) Started cvsup'ing the most recent source.

Body: Brought tea and drank it. Looked to see if the SD slot on my new laptop is supported, it's not :( Investigated all the kernel-patch packages in Debian in preparation for writing a best practices doc and massive bug filing.
