Burning a butt-load of KRUD (time to make the doughnuts). Testing an older computer to see if it could run verifies with a new version of the OS. It can't. Updating the NCLUG Hacking Society web-site so that it includes when and where we're having pre-HS dinners. Poking more at Zope on the Hacking Society web-site, so it can automate things a bit more.
I worked on getting ruby-dbi, ruby-postgres, rexml, eruby and mod_ruby all installed correctly on my laptop. I also tried to figure out why my XEmacs initialization was not working as I expected.
Worked some more on the xml version of the Security-HOWTO. Got openjade to create output. pdfjadetex was erroring out trying to convert the .tex output. Got html working fine tho. Played some with an ibm webcam that I have at home. camserv was working good, but w3cam.cgi wasnt handling the brightness correctly.
Discussed the future of LWN. Read a lot of email, sent some email, did a little work on a project in lisp, and otherwise managed to waste a lot of time doing nothing useful at all. I should've at least finished reading this week's LWN, after all...
